Days before Lenny Kravitz releases his new album, the musician surprised fans with a major announcement: He's set to perform at a series of dates in Las Vegas for a residency.
The singer will perform at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on Oct.18, 19, 23, 25, and 26 in support of his new album, Blue Electric Light, which will be available for streaming on Friday (May 24).
Kravitz will play dates overseas in Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Denmark and more, but so far, the Vegas shows are his only U.S. dates announced.
Tickets for the residency will first be available through a Live Nation pre-sale on Thursday (May 23(, at 10 a.m. PT (use code SOUNDCHECK).
Tckets will be available to the general public on Friday (May 24) at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. SiriusXM and Citi Hard will also offer pre-sales.
The recent news comes after the musician spoke to Variety to share details about his upcoming album. "It's a celebration. It was fun to make. It's full of love and humanity and unity and God and all the things that I stand for. And it's exciting to put out new music that you enjoy," he said.

When asked how Blue Electric Light differs from his previous records, he said that his past albums are all different and he has "no control over it."
His 12th album was recorded in his studio, Gregory Town Sound, in the Bahamas during and after the pandemic. The singer revealed that he recorded four albums worth of material, but he chose to release this record because this collection of music "felt immediate."
Kravitz was officially inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March. He was joined by his daughter, Zoë Kravitz, Channing Tatum, Verdine White, Evan Ross, and his longtime friend, Denzel Washington, at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
"To see my name. Lenny Kravitz, permanently engraved on the same streets I used to walk is a surreal indescribable feeling," he said.
