"I think I need to keep being creative, not to prove anything but because it makes me happy just to do it," he said of his career. "I think trying to be creative, keeping busy, has a lot to do with keeping you alive."

Nelson started his 2024 tour on February 7 in Immokalee, Fla., and continued performing in more venues in the state until February 18.
Willie Nelson & Family will resume their 2024 shows on April 17 in Lubbock, Tex., before their stops in Berkeley and Santa Barbara on April 24 and 25, respectively.
He will also join John Mellencamp and Bob Dylan at the Outlaw Music Festival in September.
