Madonna's 'Botched Look' at Oscars Afterparty Sparks Concerns: 'Are you ashamed to age ma?'

Madonna sparked concerns again due to her latest "botched appearance."

On Sunday, March 10, Madonna welcomed celebrities and artists to her annual Oscars afterparty at talent manager Guy Oseary's home in the Hollywood Hills. While they all became show-stoppers, the Queen of Pop got the most attention from the public due to her look.

Madonna Earns Mixed Reaction Due to Her Appearance

On Instagram, Madonna uploaded the highlights of her party on Instagram - and the post included solo shots and photos of other attendees.

"Oscar Party was FUN!" she wrote in the caption. "Not exactly A night off for a. Girl that i needs a night off but Im so Happy I got to meet my favorite A.C.T.O.R! #cillianmurphy - Congratulations !"

While fans showered her with praise for her look, Madonna also received criticism from her haters.

"Looking botched," one hater said, per OK! Magazine, while another user wrote, "of all the dresses she could have chose, why this?"

One user also wrote a lengthy comment, saying, "Is that a diaper? Sorry. But this is not Madonna. That's a hologram. 100 percent artificial. Time to accept that you are a simple human being like us Madonna. With lots of millions of course. But why try to make others believe that this perfect skin and face is your? Are you ashamed to age ma? Thought you were a revolutionary... but nope, just another fashion victim of the system."

Madonna Has Been Constantly Bombarded With Plastic Surgery Rumors

Prior to her recent appearance, Madonna previously dealt with speculations that she underwent plastic surgeries.

In February 2023, she received hate when she introduced Sam Smith and Kim Petras' "Unholy" performance at the Grammy Awards due to her alleged "plastic face."

She took to Instagram to respond to the comments, which were reportedly rooted in "ageism and misogyny."

Madonna addressed the same issues in 2019, explaining how she coped with people's negative comments about her looks.

"I think you think about growing old too much. I think you think about age too much," she said. "I think you should just stop thinking about it. Stop thinking, just live your life and don't be influenced by society trying to make you feel some type of way about your age or what it is you're supposed to be doing."
