Sean "Diddy" Combs is feeling the effects of the ongoing sex trafficking investigation and the raids of his homes.
Days after the federal agents raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami, Combs returned to his Instagram page with photos of his and Dana Tran's young daughter, Love, to mark Easter Sunday.
"HAPPY EASTER from Baby Love," he captioned the post.
The embattled rap mogul turned off the comments section on the post. However, fans still were able to make a statement reagrding the current news cycle he is in.
Diddy Loses Followers After the Raids
Newsweek reported that, according to social media analytics website Social Blade, Combs lost 21,897 followers on the day of the raid alone.
In total, he lost 27,698 followers in the last 30 days. His following is still quite large, however, with more than 20 million as of press time.
Combs is the father of seven kids - Quincy Taylor Brown, Justin Combs, Christian Combs, Chance Combs, D'Lila and Jessie Combs and Love Sean Combs - with four different women.
He welcomed his youngest child in December 2022.
"I'm so blessed to welcome my baby girl, Love Sean Combs to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D'Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the greatest!" he wrote on X at the time.
What Happened to Sean "Diddy" Combs?
Homeland Security Investigations launched the raids "as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners."
Combs' representative and lawyer, Aaron Dyer, issued a statement in which he called the searches "a gross overuse of military-level force."
"This unprecedented ambush - paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence - leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits," he wrote in the March 26 message. "There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name."
Meanwhile, Nadia Shihata, one of the prosecutors in R. Kelly's high-profile case, told Ashleigh Banfield that Diddy should be concerned about the raids.
