Wynonna Judd's daughter Grace Pauline Kelley broke her silence about her mother's alleged treatment following her arrest.
On April 5, Kelly was arrested and booked at 5:05 p.m. that day after she was accused of exposing her breasts and lower body. According to documents, the incident happened at the intersection of Interstate 65 and Highway 14 in Millbrook.
Wynonna Judd Accused of Snubbing Her Daughter
In a phone interview with The New York Post, Kelley alleged the country music star blocked her number following her arrest.
"My mom, she thinks I'm on drugs, right? She wants me to go to rehab. But when I came to jail, I took a drug test, and I passed it. I'm not on drugs. My mom won't listen to me, she won't believe me. She thinks I'm out here doing crazy s---," the 27-year-old continued.
Kelley has been behind bars at the Elmore County Jail in Alabama, where she was charged with indecent exposure and soliciting prostitution as she held a sign "Ride for a Ride" during the incident.
"I was doing it honestly. I literally had a sign that was like, 'Help me with my ride,'" Kelley explained, per RadarOnline.com. "I was wearing a bra, OK? On top of my bra I had on a sports bra. On top of that, I had on a T-shirt. There are women that go jogging every morning in just sports bras."
Kelley said she was wearing a skirt and underwear, insisting she did not expose anything. Police reportedly charged her with criminal impersonation before changing it to disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental operations after confirming her identity.
Grace Pauline Kelley Had Run-Ins With the Law in the Past
It was not the first time Judd's daughter was arrested.
In 2016, she was cuffed on drug charges and pleaded guilty to meth manufacturing, delivery, sale and possession with intent.
Before Kelley's phone interview from her prison cell, a source told The Daily Mail that Judd had been trying to fix their mother-daughter relationship over the past months. However, the matriarch reportedly realized there was nothing she could do anymore as Kelley always "falls right off track again and it is a pattern that has no end."
