Brian Wilson's family has proposed to place the singer under a conservatorship due to the mental health issues that he's currently facing. More recently, the lawyer appointed by the court to speak to the Beach Boys singer detailed the musician's current condition as he paid him a visit.
According to the court documents obtained by Radar Online, the lawyer said he visited the musician at his residence in Beverly Hills, California, where he lives with two of his children, a live-in caregiver, and other helpers that assist him throughout his everyday life.
The lawyer said Wilson uses a walker to roam around his property, but he needs the aid of one of his caretakers to steady him and get him in and out of the walker.
The lawyer noted that the singer was "well oriented as to person, place and time, acknowledging and responding to his name."

He was able to provide his name, date of birth, the current time and date of their interview, but unfortunately, he couldn't remember the names of some of his family members.
Wilson could only say the names of his two daughters who live with him even though he has seven children.
The lawyer added that the musician was "mostly difficult to understand and gave very short responses to questions and comments."
