After facing a multitude of allegations from his estranged wife, rapper Jeezy has assured his fans that he's getting through with everything.
The rapper has since denied all claims that he physically abused his wife and was negligent of his children.
Jeezy Shares Life Update After Wife Alleged Him of Abuse
In a new Instagram post, Jeezy shared the cover of SHEEN magazine where he is the cover of. His fans perceived the rapper's simple caption as a current life update following the mountain of allegations that his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai, has uncovered.
"Surviving and Thriving," he wrote. The comment section was brutal on Jeezy's recent post, with one user saying that they "know a gaslighter" when they see one.
"Why you walking around yo house with an assault rifle???" a user asked, alluding to Mai's allegation that their son found a bag containing his firearm in their house.
"Not "gangsta to disciple" and you hitting women," one pointed out.
"Sometimes, God takes too long to punish someone who needs karma ASAP, but your day will come," another ominously warned.
After the said post, Jeezy followed up with a photo of himself at The Driskell Prize gala in Atlanta, Georgia.
Like his last post, Jeezy captioned the photo with a cryptic caption.
"When you know yourself, you are empowered. When you accept yourself, you are invincible," he said.
Compared to the first post, the new one was showered with encouragement and good words from his fans.
Jeezy Accused of Domestic Abuse, Child Neglect
Legal documents revealed that Jeezy had a history of physically abusing his wife, Mai, during their marriage.
In one instance in 2022, Jeezy allegedly choked Mai from behind and pushed her down the stairs at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. Similar incidents took place, with Jeezy being verbally abusive too on some occasions.
The complaint also included Mai's concerns of child neglect when one of their children, still a minor, was found with Jeezy's bag that contained an AK-47 firearm.
Jeezy has since denied the allegations, saying it's "false" and "deeply disturbing."
