Slipknot Updates
The recent announcement comes after Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor canceled his series of solo concerts across North America to focus on his well-being.
"For the past several months, my mental and physical health have been breaking down, and I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and me," he said in a statement, as reported by Rolling Stone.
He added that after looking closer at his current situation, he needed to step back, focus on himself, and spend time with his family.
In other updates about Slipknot, the band is set to go on its 25th anniversary tour later this year. The tour will begin in Guadalajara, Mexico, on November 8, 2024, and will visit cities worldwide, such as Stuttgart, Leipzig, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, and more.
Their last concert will be at the O2 Arena in London, U.K., on December 20, 2024.
Fans should expect many surprises from their concerts. The band will go on tour with two new mysterious members, who replaced Jay Weinberg and Craig Jones after they parted ways with the group.
