The performers for this year's BET Hip-Hop Awards have been announced and the lineup is probably something you don't want to miss.
According to Vibe, BET recently released their list of performers. Common, YG, Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign, Migos and DJ Mustard are slated to hit the stage alongside Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, Snoop Dogg, Birdman, Jay Electronica, Bobby Shmurda, DJ Premiere and Vince Staples.
BET's Real Husband of Hollywood and Grammy award winning rapper, Nelly and Teyana Taylor of G.O.O.D Music are among confirmed presenters for the night, per SingersRoom.
As previously reported, Drake leads the pack with eight nominations this year. Drizzy has been nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year and MVP of the Year, as well as Album of the Year, Hustler of the Year and the People's Champ Award.
Jay Z, Future and Pharrell trail behind with six nods. Nicki Minaj, Rich Homie Quan and YG each snagged five nominations.
This year, BET presents the "I Am Hip Hop Icon" Award to legendary beat boxer and rapper Doug E. Fresh.
Fresh, whose most notable hits include "Keep Risin' to the Top," "The Show" and "La Di Da Di," will be honored for his efforts in helping to redefine the genre. Over the course of his career, which kick started in 1985, Fresh became known as "The Human Beatbox" and "The World's Greatest Entertainer."
Past "I Am Hip Hop" Award honorees include MC Lyte, LL Cool J, Salt-N-Pepa, Ice Cube, Russell Simmons, KRS-One, and Grandmaster Flash.
The BET Hip-Hop Awards will get a broadcasted premiere on the network on Tuesday, October 14 at 8pm.
