"I think Kane Brown, " the "Beautiful Crazy" singer said to Taste of Country.

Kane Brown is a Tennessee native who has been performing for ten years. His work straddles the sonic line between R&B and country music. The singer's second album, Experiment, earned him the number one spot on the Billboard 200.

"I think that he has never gotten the recognition that I think that he deserves," he continued, "and I think that he works really hard, and I think that it'd be really cool to see him take it home."

Brown also boasts an impressive accomplishment: he held five simultaneous number ones on all five of Billboard's country charts. In 2017, his song "Whats Ifs ft. Lauren Alaina" took the number one spot on Hot Country Songs, Country Digital and Country Airplay.  His self-titled album sat atop the Top Country Albums chart while the single "Heaven" ruled Country Digital Sales.

He has been nominated for nine ACM awards throughout his 10 years as a recording artist. Brown won the Video of the Year title in 2021 for "Worldwide Beautiful," in which he sings and speaks about racial inequality and the need for people to be at peace with each other. The song peaked at the 100th spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

This is Brown's first time being nominated for the Entertainer of the Year ACM Award. Last year, Chris Stapleton walked away with the coveted title. In 2022, Miranda Lambert won the award.

Combs, meanwhile, is gearing up for the release of his song, "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma" from the upcoming movie, Twisters. The track is set to drop on May 16.

He is also in a month into his Growin' Up and Gettin' Old stadium tour. The summer tour will take the "Fast Car" singer across the United States. Growin' Up and Gettin' Old has set multiple records despite being only a few shops deep. His Wisconsin show broke the record for highest number of concertgoers for the two-night event, with a whopping 90,828 combined; his concerts in Buffalo, NY then broke that record, garnering over 99,000 attendees across two nights.

The 2024 ACM Awards are set for May 16 and will air on Amazon Prime. Artists including Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, and Lainey Wilson will perform during the awards show.
