Brendan McLoughlin, husband of country star Miranda Lambert, suffered a wardrobe malfunction at last week's Academy of Country Music Awards.

At some point in the night, McLoughlin's pants ripped at the seam, tearing apart entirely at the crotch. The mishap left the former NYPD officer with a hint of his underwear exposed. He took the incident in jest, even posting a shot of his torn pants on Instagram.
The New York-native shared a sweet carousel of photos on Instagram, sandwiching his pseudo-crotch-shot between adorable photos of him and Lambert. In the first picture, the two are posed on the carpet, both wearing black. The couple kept it simple, with Lambert wearing a long black dress complete with jeweled accents and a flashy, strappy silver heel. She held a matching silver clutch. McLoughlin wore a suit.
The third photo is a black and white shot taken some time around Lambert's stunning performance of "Wranglers." The singer and McLoughlin are pictured walking and holding hands. Lambert sports a cowboy hat, fringe jacket and a pair of cowboy boots while grasping a large drink in her hand.
The second slide shows off McLoughlini's ripped pants. He beams a flashy smile as he frames his crotch with two hands, putting the tear on full display. A tiny patch of blue and pink underwear is visible.
"Fun times were had last night at the @acmawards with @mirandalambert. Pants held on until the very end," he wrote in the caption, attaching a prayer hands emoji and tagging photographer Jason Kempin.
Followers of Lambert's beau joked about the incident in the comments. Laughing emojis peppered his comment section.
"There are so many comments that could be made," wrote a fan of Lambert's, whose account is aptly named @miranfan.
"There are worse problems to have --LOL," posted another Instagram user.
Lambert and McLoughlin have been married for five years now. She recently divulged the secrets that keep her marriage so strong.
"I think communication is super important, especially because women, we expect men to know what we're thinking and they don't. We got to tell them," she said to People.
Staying mostly out of the public eye also benefits their relationship.
"This is my actual life. With Brendan, I made it a point to keep it as private as I could for as long as I could," said Lambert.
Lambert and McLoughlin met when he was working security at Good Morning America in 2018.

Lambert was previously married to Blake Shelton from 2011 to 2015. He is now wed to Gwen Stefani, who also attended and performed at the ACMs.
