Cardi B gets candid about her life as a mother to her children. She recalled a time when she had to back out of tour to take care of her eldest child, Kulture.

The musician appeared in a cover story for Rolling Stone, where she reflected on her decisions, especially when she became a first-time mom to her daughter with Offset just months after her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, was released.

When asked about her feelings after backing out of the supposed tour, she said, "I was really scared... I [felt] like, damn, I'm letting everybody down. I'm letting my family down. I'm letting everybody that works for me down."

She noted that the decision was for the betterment of her child as Kulture was "so little" at the time, and she couldn't imagine bringing her daughter on tour because of "germs and planes and ear popping."

"It f***** me up. Yo, postpartum is something you can't even explain," she added.

The outlet asked her if she meant postpartum depression, to which she clarified that it's "postpartum everything," adding that it becomes "depression" because of a drastic change.

Now that things are getting busy for the rapper, she told the outlet that she's trying to look for a nanny, but her parents have supported her taking care of her children in the meantime.

Although they have been helping her out with the kids, the rapper noted that she didn't want to pressure them that much because she bore her children, not her mother.

Her husband, Offset, has also been helping her after his tour, but she still feels overwhelmed with everything.

Regardless, all the musician wanted was the best for her children, adding, "My kids come first. My kids come before anything."

In the same interview, the rapper gave an update regarding her relationship with Offset, saying, "I think it through," explaining that they love each other and consider one another "best friends."

Even though they have been through many hurdles, Cardi said her husband has been supportive of her, and she considers him a "cheerleader."

"He never made me feel like I was little to him... He actually always used to tell me, 'You a f****** superstar, watch,'" she added.

When asked about the status of their relationship today, the singer simply answered, "We're all right now."
