Kelly Rowland graced the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, which came a day after she made headlines for having an intense conversation with a security guard.
The "Commander" songstress wore an ivory white one-shoulder gown and what appeared to be layers of pearl necklace for the premiere of The Count of Monte Cristo.
The musician completed her look with earrings and several rings of the same design as her necklace.
The recent news comes a day after she attended the premiere of Marcello Mio, where she wore a red gown and publicly scolded one of the security guards for the event.
According to expert lip reader Jeremy Freeman, the "When Love Takes Over" hitmaker initially told the female staffer, "Don't worry" after she accidentally stepped on her dress.
However, her mood later changed, and she reportedly said, based on the expert's interpretation," Don't talk to me like that."
She also pointed her finger at the woman and added, "You're not my mother. I told you not to talk to me like that."
As of this writing, it's unclear what prompted the Destiny's Child member to act that way, but a source told the Daily Mail that the people assigned to helping celebrities walk up the famous steps of the red carpet were "being aggressive" and the singer initially brushed it off.
However, when she got to the last woman on top, she lost her cool because the staffer reportedly scolded her and told her to move when she was waving to the photographers and fans.
"She doesn't care if she comes across like a diva if she knows that she is advocating for herself. She isn't fake and wanted to set a clear boundary," the insider added.
As of this writing, Kelly Rowland has not publicly shared her side about the incident in France.
The recent news comes after her appearance on the Today show, where she reportedly walked out. Although it was unclear why she left the program, sources revealed that host Savannah Guthrie showed "disrespect" during her appearance.
She was reportedly "aggressive" in asking about Beyoncé even though Rowland was there to promote her movie Mea Culpa.
"Kelly was offended that Savannah repeatedly and aggressively asked her about Beyoncé," a source told The Wrap.
