The Black Keys were initially set to perform in cities across North America this year, but the band has quietly canceled their International Players tour.

According to Rolling Stone, fans noticed that the Ticketmaster listing for the upcoming series of shows was listed as canceled. The band was supposed to kick off their concerts in Tulsa, OK, on September 17 until their final show in Detroit on November 12.

Some of the venues that the band was initially scheduled to perform at, such as Madison Square Garden and the Moody Center, shared an announcement on their websites, saying the shows have been officially canceled and fans who purchased tickets will be refunded.

"Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel this event," a listing reads on the Austin, TX, venue's website.

As seen on the Black Keys' official website, the group has also removed all of its upcoming tour dates except for its performance at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race on July 6, 2024.

As of this writing, the group has yet to address the recent cancellation as they have never released any statement.

Fans took to the comment section of their recent post and were clueless about what happened.

"Stalking you guys to find out whats going on with the canceled tour?! Hope everyone is in good health physically and mentally," one commented.

"You guys canceled your tour... hope everything's okay. Super bummed out!" another one wrote, while one added, "Hey what's with the cancelled shows???"

The band, consisting of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, just wrapped up their recent European leg to perform new songs from their latest album, Ohio Players.

The outlet noted that the concerts' cancellations don't appear to be health-related, as they had just performed on the season finale of The Voice.

Although the group has yet to share an official statement, Consequence reported that the cancellation might be due to low ticket sales. Some fans expressed their disappointment over high ticket prices; some of the tickets reportedly cost around $100 to $300.

Their latest record was also their least successful commercial release in 20 years, as Ohio Players only debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200, which is far from Dropout Boogie in 2022, which debuted at No. 8.
