Troubles seem to mount for Sean "Diddy" Combs, who grapples with accusations and is facing several legal battles.
A recent uproar ensued when an old video showing Combs engaging in a physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, sparked criticism across social media platforms.
Amid the current uproar surrounding the viral video clip, online users target the rapper with harsh comments, some even proposing the removal of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A rep for Hollywood Chamber of Commerce informed TMZ that the organization has made no progress regarding the issue at hand. They emphasized that no discussions had taken place about revoking the star, which was bestowed upon the disgraced music mogul in 2008.
They emphasized their lack of authority in determining its removal.
According to the statements provided to the media, the organization has the authority to select individuals for star nominations, manage the creation and placement of the stars following city authorization, and oversee the grand events. Nevertheless, they cannot withdraw stars.
Combs has experienced a significant upheaval in his life, grappling with various controversies stemming from his past actions.
The most recent and biggest controversy his when the rapper was captured engaging in a physical altercation with Ventura in a hotel lobby. After the unsettling footage surfaced, the rapper posted a video on Instagram on May 19, expressing remorse for his actions.

Meanwhile, Ventura has broken her silence a week after the disturbing video surfaced.
A recent social media update by Ventura did not reference Combs directly; however, her remarks surfaced shortly after CNN released footage from 2016 showing the rapper allegedly engaging in physical altercations with her.
"Domestic violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become."
"The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning."
In a lawsuit filed in federal court last November 2023, Ventura made allegations of abuse against Combs, which eventually led to a settlement for an undisclosed amount. Throughout the legal process, Combs did not acknowledge any misconduct.
Upon meeting at the age of 19 and 37, Ventura and Combs crossed paths, leading to him offering her a spot on his music label and sparking a romantic connection between them.
