Celine Dion is set to take the stage for what may be her final performance - in the form of a live TV concert.
After receiving a diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022, Dion has been trying to hone her vocal strength in the hopes of making a glorious return to singing despite her ongoing struggle with the autoimmune condition.
According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, "[Dion] is not giving up her desire to sing again. She has been working with voice coaches, band members, and specialists for over six months. She believes she could release a concert film featuring her playing her biggest hits."
After facing health challenges, Dion canceled the rest of her Courage World Tour in the past year. In her recent documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, she openly shares her journey with these health issues.
The "My Heart Will Go On Answer" said, "I can't answer that... because for four years I've been saying to myself that I'm not going back, that I'm ready, that I'm not prepared."
"As things stand, I can't stand here and say to you: 'Yes, in four months.' I don't know... my body will tell me. On the other hand, I don't just want to wait."
In a recent discussion, Dion also shared insights into managing her muscle-affecting condition through various therapies she undergoes daily, emphasizing that while treatment is ongoing, she does not anticipate a complete cure.
"I'm well, but it's a lot of work. I'm taking it one day at a time. I haven't beat the disease, as it's still within me and always will be," she said.
"I hope that we'll find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it. So that's me, now with Stiff Person Syndrome."

Amid challenging circumstances, the Grammy winning singer's joy emanates from the presence of her children, as depicted in the heartwarming moments captured in the documentary, which showcases the precious time spent with her three sons.
A touching moment also unfolded in the documentary as the mom-of-three affectionately expressed "Je t'aime" to her son in French, followed by an embrace.
Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) or stiff-man syndrome, makes individuals experience a rare neurological disorder characterized by advancing muscle stiffness and spasms.
These spasms, which can vary in intensity and frequency, may cause discomfort and tend to worsen as the disorder progresses. Typically, the stiffness primarily impacts the muscles in the torso, although it can also extend to the limbs.
