Madonna Sparks New Dating Buzz With Boxer After Josh Popper Split

Only a few days after Madonna and Josh Popper's breakup hit the headlines, the Queen of Pop is now linked to another young boxer.

A new report from The Sun claimed that Madonna has grown closer to 34-year-old British boxer, Richard Riakporhe. The buzz intensified when the 65-year-old singer posted a photo of herself sitting on Roakporhe's lap in October 2023 alongside the caption, "I had to sit somewhere."

According to the outlet, Madonna and Riakporhe probably met in 2023 when he modeled for Burberry.

"Richard met Madonna through the fashion world - they have mutual friends. They get on really well and have a lot of fun in each other's company," the insider claimed. "But at the moment they are just good friends."

The dating buzz began after The Sun received another top about Madonna and Popper's split months after they started dating. They met through Madonna's son, David Banda, who was having boxing lessons from the 30-year-old boxer.

"Madonna has barely seen Josh for months because her schedule was so hectic. Things just fizzled out," said the insider. "There is genuinely no bad blood - they're still fond of each other. At the moment their relationship doesn't feel feasible and they've cooled things off, but they are staying friends."

Madonna and Popper reportedly decided to stay friends after the breakup.

The "Back That Up to The Beat" singer launched her Celebration Tour at the O2 Arena in London in October 2023 after initially postponing it due to her serious medical condition.

She concluded her tour with a concert on a beach in Rio de Janeiro on May 24, welcoming 1.6 million fans to the show. According to Pollstar, the event had "the largest audience ever assembled for a standalone concert."

"I have to say that I was completely satisfied, and I didn't expect anything less," FOH engineer, Burton Ishmael, said after the show. "The loudspeakers and amps held up tremendously. The ability to monitor what's going on anywhere in the system at any given moment was very confidence-building. And then sonically, it was exactly what I expected from L-Acoustics-excellence, from the first note to the last."

Madonna has yet to announce a new project after the end of her Celebration Tour.
