Over a year after her husband Kyle Jacobs died, Kellie Pickler has now decided to let go of the home where she found him dead, after taking his own life.
TMZ obtained the property records of Pickler's Nashville, Tenn., home and confirmed that she closed on its sale for $2.3 million on May 15. The property has four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The "Red High Heels" singer put the house on the market for $2.89 million in November 2023 before the price went down to $2.6 million.
The sale came after RadarOnline.com confirmed that the home was under contract for sale, but the amount was expected to be cut down to finalize the purchase. The final selling price confirmed that Pickler settled for an even lower price point as she let go of the property she purchased in February 2010, a year after she and Jacobs wed.
A recently unearthed 911 call recorded Pickler and her assistant, Sherry Caldwell, panicking as the latter contacted the hotline after somebody "was shot or something."
"We just see blood and the door's closed," Caldwell continued in the audio obtained by In Touch. "It's coming out from under the door. Please hurry."
Pickler was heard repeatedly yelling, "Oh my god, oh my god," in the background while Caldwell confirmed to the dispatcher that they knew what happened since Jacobs was the only person in the bedroom at the time.
They tried opening the door as instructed, but Jacobs was seemingly behind it.

The Davidson County Medical Examiner later confirmed that the 49-year-old songwriter died by suicide following a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His toxicology results also showed he had no drugs in his system at the time of his death, though he had a history of "pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use."
During Pickler's first stage performance since Jacobs' death, she revealed they wrote the song "The Woman I Am" with her late husband.
"The last time I was here in the Ryman Auditorium was with him on a date night, and I know he is here with us tonight... I'll do the best I can," she told the crowd at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium in April.
Pickler and Jacobs were married for more than a decade.
