Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean raved about Taylor Swift after meeting her with his daughter.
Speaking to Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone, McLean had this to say about the global pop star: "She is, by far, in my opinion, one of the most grounded, humble performers ever," McLean said. It's like, 'OK, something's gotta be off about you. There's gotta be, like, a dark side.' And there isn't."
McLean revealed that he and his 11-year-old daughter, Ava, had met Swift three times already, and one particular meeting had struck the former Backstreet Boys member the most.
"And the last time she met her, she remembered her name, which that, as a dad alone, catapulted her into the stratosphere for me," he gushed. "You know, we were backstage. She came back ... She's like, 'Ava.' And I was just like, 'What? Mind blown.'"
McLean's Ava wasn't the only child that Swift has been fond of in the past.

Grammy-winning icon Alicia Keys' son, Genesis, is also a big Swiftie.
In a TikTok video documenting their The Eras Tour escapade in 2023, Keys took a break from her Alicia + Keys World Tour to stop by SoFi Stadium to spend quality time with her kiddo.
Little Genesis, Keys and Swizz Beatz's son, could not contain his excitement in the video.
Elsewhere in the video, Swift met Keys and Genesis backstage. Swift even kissed Genesis on the cheek and exchanged friendship bracelets.
In one of the clips on Keys' TikTok, she used sweet footage of Swift and Genesis, who were much younger then, during the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where Swift and Genesis are fondly looking at each other one seat apart.
Aside from the friendship bracelet and the kiss, Genesis also received a personalized letter from Taylor Swift.
"Gen, hi my friend!! I was so excited when I heard you were coming tonight!! I hope you have so much fun at the show. I'll be waving at you. Love, Taylor," the letter wrote.
Thrilled with the letter, Genesis told everyone that he would have the letter framed.
"Big love to Taylor Swift for your big beautiful spirit that makes everyone feel loved! Genesis adores you," Keys captioned her TikTok, which has now garnered more than 3.8 million views.
