Taylor Swift has landed in Madrid, Spain, to continue the European leg of her The Eras Tour. She received an intensive security escort after landing at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, the main international airport in Spain.

Page Six reported that the global pop star was escorted to her hotel through a stacked motorcade of motorcycles and heavily tinted black vehicles.

Patrolling officers have scoured the area on foot and horseback during the motorcade. Meanwhile, fans and photographers are peppered throughout the sidewalks en route to Swift's hotel.

In another news however, Spanish Swifties are complaining about the low quality of official merchandise at Swift's merchandise store.

"80 bucks and poorly finished. They could sell cheaper and have better management of the tickets, because ehhh, the fabric...," a TikTok from Telemadrid said. "Two sweatshirts, two bottles, a poster. We've spent the month's salary there. The bottle is made of hard plastic, if you drop it, it's broken and it's useless. This sweatshirt is better because I also bought the dark one and this one is better finished, but it comes with all the threads too."

According to a report from USA Today, Swifties had camped out under intense 90-degree temperatures before the doors for her first-night concert opened.

"We've been here more than 24 hours," a fan told the outlet. "I'm coming from Peru, and this is my dream. I've always dreamed of coming half my life to see Taylor Swift."

While some may not mind the long wait, others worry about the heat.

"I am worried about the heat," another fan complained before revealing how they prepared for the concert. "I brought a lot of gummies for the sugar to give me fuel. I've drank water this whole morning, and I'm going to try and finish before 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. so that I'm hydrated, and then I'll just go to the bathroom before going in."

After her May 29 and May 30 concerts, Swift will head directly to France again for two-night concerts at the Groupama Stadium on June 2 and June 3.
