Former President Donald Trump has been found guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. News outlets, politicians, netizens and the world are reacting to the historical event --Trump is the first former president to face a criminal trial-- as are country singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany.
The Aldeans were in the midst of a luxurious European vacation, which Brittany has been sharing details of to her Instagram account, when the news broke of Trump's conviction. Brittany, who had posted several videos of herself and the gorgeous views of Switzerland to her Instagram story, quickly addressed the verdict.
She reshared a post from Fox News showing Donald Trump with the word "GUILTY" next to him. Brittany attached her own reaction, writing "Is anyone shocked? A weak competitor always takes out their enemy when they know they will lose. America is not the country it once was. An absolute disgrace. We Love you @realdonaldtrump #fjb."
Brittany also reposted a photo from her husband's account. Jason shared a photo of an upside-down American Flag, which has become a "Stop the Steal" symbol for loyal Trump supporters who believe that the former president won the 2020 election. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito recently came under fire for hanging the same flag in front of his home.
"Scary times in our country right now, man. When a former POTUS gets treated like this by our justice system, what does that mean for the rest of us??? If there was ever a time to speak up, ITS NOW! Make no mistake...We are in trouble," reads the caption to the controversial image.

Brittany shared a video to her story in which she laments about the former president's conviction. Text reading "We are keeping up with things going on at home while on vacation. We will continue posting for y'all but heavy hearts over here for sure" sits on the top of the clip.
"Hey guys, obviously we are in Switzerland and have days left on this vacation," she begins.
"We are keeping up with what's going on, with everything with Trump and you guys know where we stand on that. We support him. We have, endlessly, for a while."
"It seems a little bit trivial to be posting about things going on on the vacation when that stuff's going on back home... I just want you to know that behind the scenes, we are heavy hearted about everything and praying like hell that [Trump] comes out on top, which we think he will."
She added that she and Jason will continue posting "as usual" about their Swiss vacation.
"Sucks, man," concludes her video.
Brittany posted a photo of herself, Jason and Trump to her Instagram grid, captioning the post, "WE LOVE YOU @realdonaldtrump The ones with a brain can see through the smear campaign. #FJB #FJB #FJB."
