Travis Kelce talked about himself and how he managed to keep himself in check after amassing significant attention in the past year.
In a conversation in Good Morning America, the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end shared that he's "living the dream." Despite this, he still keeps his feet on the ground.
"When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier," Kelce shared. "I've always been a very grounded guy."
While many would think otherwise if he were playing in the field, he assured everyone that off the field, he "just wanted to be a genuine person."
Kelce's statements came on the heels of a growing engagement buzz between him and Taylor Swift.
Kelce's longtime hairdresser and close friend, Pat Regan, spoke to the Your Day Off podcast and gave his thoughts on a possible wedding between the NFL superstar and the global music icon.
"Hopefully soon," he hoped, before sharing anecdotes of how Swift is a "good girlfriend."
"It's kind of cool to see because I know her as a person and she's just a really nice person," he gushed. "She's very interested in what you're saying. She doesn't act like the most famous celebrity in the world-she's a good girlfriend to my friend."
However, insider sources have revealed that the constant questioning of when they would be engaged seemed to have worn the power couple out.
Life & Style sources revealed that there's not "a day goes by" that "they don't get hit with gentle hints and questions."
"The social media and fan chatter about an engagement is bad enough, but he also gets questions from friends, and the more he's pressured, the more he withdraws," the insider added.
As for Swift, she seemed to be getting tired of the continuous speculation.
"Her friends bring it up all the time, and she's ordered them to stop mentioning it. The constant questions are not helping. She's 100 percent sure that Travis is The One, and she's just hoping the proposal happens soon, because she wants to get on with the next stage of their lives," the insider furthered.
Swift is currently on the road for The Eras Tour in Europe. She will play a three-night show at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland, from June 7 to 9, 2024. After that, she'll head over for another three nights in Liverpool, a night in Cardiff, another three nights in London, and three more nights in Dublin.
