It's been eight years since Rihanna released her last album, Anti, and fans have been waiting for her to reboot her music career again. However, it appears that the musician doesn't have plans to make a big musical comeback, as she trolled her supporters by wearing a hilarious t-shirt ahead of the release of her new haircare line.

The "Where Have You Been" songstress was recently spotted in New York City with her partner, A$AP Rocky.

During the outing, the singer could be seen rocking a new braided blonde hairstyle. She also wore a graphic T-shirt that trolled her fans, reading, "I'm retired. This is as dressed up as I get."

The musician completed her look with a navy blue skirt, a pair of white and red sneakers, and a Bottega Veneta purse.

Fans immediately took to social media to react to the hilarious trolling as one wrote, "Well if there will ever be another album, it will be her highly anticipated 9th & final studio album titled 'RihTired."

"rihanna fans are not gonna love this," one wrote, while another added, "Welp she never doing music again."

As of this writing, Rihanna has yet to announce whether she'll release new music.

The last time the singer released new music was in 2022, with the song "Lift Me Up" as part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's official soundtrack.

The recent news comes after the "You Da One" hitmaker announced her latest business venture, "Fenty Hair," in which the teaser featured her with short hair and other people with different hair textures like British pop star Jess Glynne.

"a new family is moving in! @fentyhair is pullin up and it's time to finally have the hair experience you've been waiting for," she wrote in the caption, adding that changing her hairstyle matters to her and after trying different colors, textures, and lengths, she's happy to launch her haircare line that aims to repair damaged hair.

"I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair," she added.

Fenty Hair will be available on June 13, 2024, but fans can now sign up on the product's official website.
