Earlier this year, Lzzy Hale was announced as a temporary touring member of Skid Row after Erik Gronwall left the band to focus on his health. More recently, Jon Bon Jovi expressed his desire for the singer to stay with the group permanently.
According to Consequence, the singer played a significant role in helping the band amass massive success in the 80s as member Dave "The Snake" Sabo was friends with the legendary musician since they were younger. He also became a guitarist for Bon Jovi before Richie Sambora became a permanent fixture.
Jon recently appeared in an interview with Rock Sound, where he answered several questions from other rockers within the music industry, including Lzzy Hale.
Before her video was even played, the singer immediately reacted and asked her to be a permanent member of Skid Row.
"She should please join Skid Row. Please, Lzzy Hale, join Skid Row. Put the two bands together, if you need to. But this is the best thing that happened to Snake since he met me," he declared.
As of this writing, it's unclear whether Lzzy will join the group permanently, as she's also busy fronting the band Halestorm.
The frontwoman previously hinted to fans about her future with Skid Row in an interview with 105.5 WDHA, saying, "You never know. I will say something that most likely will happen is that these will not be the only four dates you ever hear. I will say that."
She later noted that if she becomes a permanent member, they all have to "find a plateu" in their schedules to do that, but if it happens, it "sounds like a pretty good gig" for her.
However, Lzzy also noted that she only performed for the band temporarily because she wanted to help out her friends, explaining that Skid Row had a massive impact on her at the beginning of her career.
Skid Row announced a series of concerts earlier this year, but many fans were saddened when Erik Gronwall revealed that he would be leaving the group and would not join them on tour this year.
In a social media statement, the singer said he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2021 and he needed to focus on his health and recovery.
