LANY vocalist Paul Klein gave everyone a massive update after he got into a tragic accident.
"Hey everyone - on thursday night of last week, I got hit by a car while I was on my vespa heading home from the gym," Klein told his followers on Instagram. "I don't really remember anything after the collision. I woke up on a stretcher being put into an ambulance."
According to Klein, he had "cried a lot" and remained "thankful and happy" in the past few days, emphasizing how "fortunate" he is that he's still alive.
"All of my vitals are good, but walking and moving around is still a challenge. I'm getting progressively better though and will be at 100 percent really soon."
Following Klein's injuries, the pop rock band announced they're postponing the remaining dates for their A Beautiful Blur: The World Tour.
The Australian and New Zealand dates will be rescheduled as Klein recovers.
In the photos that Klein shared on social media, he has a large bruise on his left eye and some scarring on his fists and legs.
"The doctors have advised we reschedule our upcoming shows in australia and new zealand to fast track my recovery," Klein announced. "For those of you that have purchased a ticket for aus/nz, hold onto them and the new dates will be released shortly. Thank you for understanding."
Klein added that the incident has only "intensified the feelings of purpose" he has.
"..So I can't wait to heal up and get back to it," he concluded. "All other tour dates are staying the same. I love you and this life deeply! see u soon."
