Billy Ray Cyrus accused his estranged wife, Firerose, of charging his credit card a whopping $96,986.05 between May 2024 and June 2024.
TMZ has obtained legal documents showing that the Australian singer had spent the amount across 37 unauthorized charges during the period. Per the report, Firerose used Cyrus' business American Express card, which was revealed that she was never authorized to use or handle.
Cyrus then sought a temporary restraining order against his wife, preventing her from using credit cards. He also demanded in the filing that Firerose pay him the entire amount.
Meanwhile, Firerose asserted in a counter-filing that she has had access to Cyrus' cards since moving in together in 2022. She also argued that she had abided by the designated credit limits correspondingly.
Firerose also pointed out that she should be able to use their marital money while legally wed to support her established lifestyle. She also claimed that $45,000 of the money that Cyrus wanted back was mistakenly charged by the law firm and has since been refunded. The law firm only intended to charge Firerose $5,000, but they mistakenly charged the card $50,000.

The filing came days after Cyrus quietly filed the divorce papers on May 22, 2024. Per court documents obtained by People, Cyrus listed "irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct" as the reason for their divorce. Additionally, he also requested an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
Cyrus gave Firerose a deadline to leave their marital home and even paid her $5,000 a month until the divorce was finalized to get her proper housing in Tennessee.
Cyrus and Firehouse married in October 2023. This marks Cyrus' third marriage and eventual divorce from his relationships with Cindy Smith and Tish Cyrus.
"10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony," the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post at the time, celebrating their marriage. "It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined."
Since starting dating, the couple has released four collaborative tracks: "New Day," "Time," "Plans," and "After the Storm."
