Jessica Biel made her first public appearance on Tuesday following her husband Justin Timberlake's recent DWI arrest in New York. The 42-year-old actress was seen filming scenes for her upcoming Amazon series The Better Sister.
The mom-of-two maintained a composed demeanor and even shared a subtle grin while focused on her work on set, according to Page Six.
A body language expert revealed that Biel exuded the familiar polite yet neutral expression often seen among top-tier celebrities captured during breaks in filming.
Upon examining the visuals, Judi James observed that Timberlake's wife appeared focused on simply moving forward with the task at hand.

She told The Mirror, "It must be hard figuring out the perfect complimentary his and hers body language pose when your husband's face is filling the press in a haunting police mugshot and you're in the middle of doing some filming, but [Biel] seems to have opted for the classic A-list 'polite but blank' expression where the head is up but the eyes are down and the mouth curls into the faintest of smiles to avoid any suggestion of looking glum or affected by all the drama."
As the expert spoke further, she observed the hand that had appeared poised to touch or conceal the face in a gesture that was abruptly abandoned, now resting by her side.
James said Biel's expression on her face conveyed a sense of carrying on with her tasks in a composed manner, cloaked in a sophisticated air of withholding any comment.
Biel and Timberlake have made no comments regarding the arrest incident. Information from legal papers indicates that his upcoming court hearing is scheduled for July 26, 2024.
After an encounter with law enforcement, there were allegations that Timberlake emitted a noticeable alcohol smell, per TMZ. Although he participated in a field sobriety assessment, reports claim he declined to undergo a breathalyzer examination.
Following these events, the former NSYNC singer faced legal charges, including driving while intoxicated, disobeying a stop sign, and failing to maintain his lane.
