After Justin Timberlake faced legal troubles for driving under the influence in New York, ticket prices for his ongoing Forget Tomorrow World Tour dropped to less than $16.50.

The "Cry Me A River" star went on his first tour in five years, delighting fans across the United States.

Despite lackluster sales, efforts have been made to increase attendance at large venues in the United States by reducing ticket prices.

For Timberlake's upcoming July 4 performance at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania, tickets for seats at the rear are currently available for only $16.

In X's account, Under Face Value, midfield seats are available for just $40.

Despite the tour struggling to sell out in many places, the situation is brighter in the UK. Limited tickets remain for Timberlake's first O2 Arena show, and price reductions have not been needed.

Amid concerns from insiders about the challenges faced on tour and the underwhelming commercial performance of his most recent album Everything I Thought I Was, Timberlake is reportedly feeling the pressure. The debut single from his sixth album, "Selfish," hit the airwaves in January 2024, reaching a modest peak at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, "[Timberlake's friends want him to take another extended break from music to focus on his health and wellbeing. He has felt intense pressure to compete with touring juggernauts like Beyonce and Taylor Swift - and his tour has barely sold in comparison."

The "SexyBack" singer unexpectedly canceled his July 8 show in Columbia, South Carolina, leaving fans questioning.

Per Ticketmaster, "Unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event."

Authorities apprehended Timberlake on Tuesday just past midnight for driving while intoxicated.

Police said the former NSYNC star failed to obey a stop sign, veered into a different lane, exhibited signs of alcohol consumption, and declined to undergo a breathalyzer test.

Timberlake has reportedly expressed regret to law enforcement officers after his detention, and is scheduled to appear in court on July 26, coinciding with the start of his upcoming tour in Poland. Despite his sense of accountability, his wife, Jessica Biel, is rumored to be deeply mortified by the situation.

An insider told the Daily Mail, "[Timberlake] is disappointed but he is her husband so she is by his side and will have his back through all of it."

"She would like Justin to curb his drinking, so he never gets into a situation like this ever again. She is treating it like a slap on the wrist and is hoping that it doesn't lead to anything more severe in the future."
