Is Justin Timberlake entering rehab?

According to an insider who spoke to TMZ, the "Cry Me A River" signer does not intend to enter rehab after being arrested for driving under the influence.

The former NSYNC star was apprehended after failing a sobriety test during a traffic stop that occurred after a night out with friends in Sag Harbor.

In situations similar to the 43-year-old singer's where celebrities encounter challenges related to substance abuse, the typical path chosen by many is to enroll in rehabilitation facilities or participate in alcohol education programs.

However, Timberlake has reportedly decided to prioritize his upcoming tour and entrust the legal matters of his case to his attorney. After his recent court appearance, the dad-of-two is scheduled to return before a judge on July 26, 2024, coinciding with the start of his anticipated European tour for the Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

The source said that Timberlake has a clean record when it comes to alcohol and usually maintains composure during public appearances.

And instead of heading to rehab, the "Señorita" singer is gearing up to take the stage in Chicago this Friday, marking the beginning of a new series of live shows.

Per Edward Burke Jr., Timberlake's legal representative, he is strategizing to confront the case and negotiate a plea agreement with the prosecution on the singer's behalf. The objective is to reportedly secure access to police bodycam recordings of the arrest following Justin's statement that he had consumed only "a single Martini."

Upon reaching the scene on Tuesday just past midnight, the Sag Harbor officers who detained Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend reported witnessing him abruptly changing lanes and disregarding a stop sign.

They further claimed that when they pulled him over, they noticed his glassy eyes and detected a strong scent of alcohol on his breath.

The singer later found himself in trouble after being detained for driving under the influence.

Timberlake reportedly intended to reach his home, yet authorities intercepted him en route.

Now, he is facing multiple charges, including DWI, running a stop sign, and failing to maintain his lane discipline.

According to his lawyer who spoke to Page Six, "[We] look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time." He added, "He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA's office."
