A Taylor Swift fan faces criticism for putting up for sale a bracelet supposedly gifted by the popstar's mother, Andrea Swift, during an Eras Tour show.

Some Swifties have expressed disapproval, saying they would never engage in such an act - a gesture beyond their imagination.

The issue came to light when a social media user posted on Platform X, formerly Twitter, showcasing a snapshot of an advertisement selling the bracelet for $300 on a digital marketplace.

According to X user @rockwellswift, who also attached a screenshot of the listing, "someone is selling a bracelet that Andrea gave them for $300. I'm so disgusted."

The description reads, "This is the ultimate friendship bracelet. I have the proof as her mom handed it to me."

In Swift's Eras Tour, friendship bracelets are being exchanged by concertgoers for maximum experience. One lucky fan was able to receive a bracelet from Swift's mom. The individual selling the item shared how they had acquired the piece in a trade with Andrea during Swift's Santa Clara concert in July 2023.

In under half an hour of being listed online, the bracelet was purchased for $200, leaving some Swifties disappointed.

"This is disgusting," one person wrote.

"Who would want to be buy that? Like honestly it means nothing if it wasn’t GIVEN to you," another wrote.

However, most of the Swifties are not mad about the seller's profit-making decision.

According to one X user, "It’s sad, yes. However in this economy a lot of people are forced to sell their valuables to make ends meet. Just some food for thought."

Another wrote, "Imagine everyone’s up in arms about this and it could turn out the person is going through hardship and it’s between keeping this or selling it and paying their rent or medical bills lol. It sucks someone is selling it but they might be just as devastated about it too."

A third person commented, "I wouldn’t ever do this, but if someone went to a show and then suddenly got into a crisis, maybe it isn’t that shocking that they’re selling whatever they can. I think we need to show some understanding for people. We don’t know their lives."

This isn't the first time followers of the 14-time Grammy winner have found ways to profit by selling secondhand items, and sometimes even trash, from her Eras tour.

During the Foxborough, Massachusetts concert in July 2023, a Swiftie made an unusual offer to sell a vial of rainwater collected post-downpour for an astonishing $10,000.

Despite the relentless rain pouring down, the "Guilty As Sin" singer sensation fearlessly performed her chart-topping hits, encouraging her devoted fans to embrace the unforgettable show fully.

After the stadium concert, the fans gathered a meager portion of the seemingly collectible rainwater from within the venue.

The listing later surfaced on Only In Boston's Instagram page, revealing the astonishing price tag of $250 for the water containers displayed in the photo.

Other Swifties also stumbled upon an item for sale on Depop. The listing showcased a set of desiccated single-use contact lenses, claimed to have a dubious link to Swift, and was priced exorbitantly at $10,000.

Another instance was during the Australian Eras tour, where numerous concertgoers tried to sell their complimentary wristbands on Facebook Marketplace at excessive prices. These bands were promoted for up to $300 apiece due to the overwhelming desire for these souvenirs.
