Justin Timberlake's ego was harmed even further after his arrest in Sag Harbor.

The officer who apprehended him for driving under the influence in Sag Harbor on a Tuesday morning failed to identify him based on his appearance or identity.

"[Timberlake] said under his breath, 'This is going to ruin the tour,'" according to an insider who spoke to Page Six. "The cop replied, 'What tour?' [Timberlake] said, 'The world tour.'"

Sources revealed that the 43-year-old "Cry Me A River" singer is still set to take the stage in Chicago this Friday and then at Madison Square Garden the following week.

Despite this, doubts may be creeping in as his latest album, "Everything I Thought It Was," dropped off the Billboard 200 chart after just four weeks.

Insiders have revealed to Page Six that the Timberlake's professional journey has not lived up to the lofty goals he had set for himself by this stage.

They told the outlet, "The album didn't do too well, and I don't see [Timberlake] getting big acting roles right now."

"I just think [Timberlake] has a bad reputation in Hollywood as a bit of a jerk and a pain in the a--."

"He's got a bit of an ego."

Lately, the public eye has been drawn to Timberlake's somber mug shot, revealing a former NSYNC heartthrob struggling with weighty mid-life issues.

The "Sexy Back" singer's recent mugshot has garnered attention across social media platforms, prompting users to question why it stands out as one of the most polished mugshots.

Britney Spears' former beau was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Sag Harbor, Long Island, following a DWI charge.

According to a police report, Timberlake was stopped for disregarding a stop sign and drifting out of his lane. Law enforcement officers followed Timberlake for about a mile before taking him into custody.

Soon after the reports of his run-in with the law made headlines, his mugshot quickly spread across the internet.

Fans were impressed by the exceptional clarity and quality of the photo, setting it apart from the usual celebrity mugshots that go viral, according to Newsweek.

According to one X, formerly Twitter user, "Why is this the most high-quality mug shot ever?"

Another quipped, "Of course jails in the Hamptons use ring lights."

"Look like an oil painting it's so good," a third joked.
