Justin Timberlake's ego was harmed even further after his arrest in Sag Harbor.

The officer who apprehended him for driving under the influence in Sag Harbor on a Tuesday morning failed to identify him based on his appearance or identity.

"[Timberlake] said under his breath, 'This is going to ruin the tour,'" according to an insider who spoke to Page Six. "The cop replied, 'What tour?' [Timberlake] said, 'The world tour.'"

Sources revealed that the 43-year-old "Cry Me A River" singer is still set to take the stage in Chicago this Friday and then at Madison Square Garden the following week.

Despite this, doubts may be creeping in as his latest album, "Everything I Thought It Was," dropped off the Billboard 200 chart after just four weeks.

Insiders have revealed to Page Six that the Timberlake's professional journey has not lived up to the lofty goals he had set for himself by this stage.

They told the outlet, "The album didn't do too well, and I don't see [Timberlake] getting big acting roles right now."

"I just think [Timberlake] has a bad reputation in Hollywood as a bit of a jerk and a pain in the a--."

"He's got a bit of an ego."
