Andy Cohen took Jennifer Lopez's side as he defended her against online critics.

Talking to his Daddy's Diaries podcast, Cohen was sarcastically "amazed" by the negative online conversation about Lopez's character, including reports that she was "unlikeable."

According to Cohen, he doesn't think that's "correct." He even doubled down on people's claims that the "Let's Get Loud" singer had "pissed off a lot of people.

Recalling Lopez's guest appearances on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the Emmy-winning host attested that the singer-actress has "no drama."

"[She] wasn't late, wasn't anything. [She] showed up, was game, did the show," Cohen confirmed, noting that she was "super game" at anything and that he "could talk to her about anything."

While Cohen and his co-host John Hill acknowledged that Lopez's latest album, This Is Me...Now, flopped, they praised her performance skills instead.

"She puts on a capital S show, and she dances the entire time," Cohen said. "It's like people are mad at her for doing too much. OK, what's she supposed to do? Too little?"

Cohen's comments came weeks after blogger and television host Megan McCain criticized Lopez publicly.

In her podcast with Miranda Wilkins, Citizen McCain, McCain recalled her "deeply unpleasant" interaction with Lopez.

"I, too, share similar negative stories that the entire world does. I feel bad because we're turning a point where there's bullying happening to J.Lo," McCain shared, recalling her experience with Lopez on The View.

According to her, Lopez is a "deeply unpleasant person." She even remembered that Lopez had the "biggest entourage" she had ever seen during her guest appearance at the show - "More than Kim Kardashian and the president."

McCain doubled down, saying she didn't "really understand why" an extensive entourage was needed.

In the conversation on her podcast, McCain also remembered when she saw Lopez having one of her assistants hold a "mirror with lights" while touching her up backstage.

"I was a host at 'The View,' she was not nice. You don't always have to be so nice, but it was surprising that people like Kim Kardashian couldn't be more delightful," McCain added. "When you're coming on a show for a 10-minute segment ... just fake it 'til you make it for 10 f-king minutes."

Many have scrutinized Lopez's behavior in the past. At the 2024 Met Gala, the internet slammed Lopez after she brusquely responded to a cheerful reporter asking who made her dress. Others seemed unsurprised by Lopez's reaction, as they had anticipated that her diva attitude would reappear.
