The young policeman who apprehended and arrested Justin Timberlake following his night out in Sag Harbor reportedly saved someone's life just days before the singer's DWI incident.

According to an insider who spoke with Page Six, the rookie cop named Officer Michael Arkinson, 23, administered Narcan to save a person from overdosing.

"This is a young officer who's done an excellent job.... a week prior [to the Timberlake bust], he had actually saved a 25-year-old from an overdose. He had given him Narcan," the source said.

The insider, who claimed to be a Sag Harbor local, added that most of the people from their area support their law enforcement.

Arkinson stopped the musician from driving, and he reportedly didn't recognize the singer upon pulling him over.

At the time, the "Mirrors" hitmaker reportedly said, "This is going to ruin the tour," to which the officer replied, "What tour?"

There were reports that claimed the young officer warned Timberlake before his arrest, but the insider insisted that it never happened, saying, "the officer did not engage with Timberlake prior to him being pulled over."

The source added that following the issue surrounding Timberlake, the media has been at Arkinson's house looking at everything.

Timberlake, who reportedly claimed that he only had one drink that evening, was booked at the Sag Harbor Police Department and was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated. He was also cited for ignoring a stop sign and failing to stay in a proper lane.

The incident happened after the musician spent a night at the American Hotel with his friends.

The singer's tour was not affected by the arrest, as he went on to perform in Chicago after his run-in with the law.

During his show at the United Center, the singer addressed the incident and became emotional while speaking to his fans.

"We've been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights. And, uh, it's been a tough week. But you're here and I'm here. Nothing can change this moment right now," he said while holding a guitar.

He added, "I know sometimes I'm hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much."

Timberlake's Forget Tomorrow Tour will continue with stops in different cities worldwide over the next few months.
