Justin Timberlake fans were initially concerned for his Madison Square Garden show, after the rows of empty seats in the venue after his DWI arrest.

An insider revealed to The Mirror that there were still sections of seats remained that empty by 8 PM, just as the concert was set to start.

Madison Square Garden can accommodate up to 19,500 people.

The source added that fans have expressed loyalty to Timberlake despite the recent scandal. The fans also claim that the "Cry me A River" singer's arrest has not changed their opinion of him.

They even reportedly believe that Timberlake "can do no wrong in their eyes."

However, in an unexpected twist, just as Timberlake was about to grace the stage at 9 PM, the seats had all been occupied.

This comes after the "SexyBack" singer addressed his DWI arrest for the first time over the weekend at his concert in Chicago.

During his Forget Tomorrow World Tour on Friday, June 21, Timberlake talked to a packed audience at the United Center and gave a heartfelt speech.

The former NSYNC star shared about the challenges he faced that week, embracing vulnerability and connecting deeply with his fans.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Timberlake said, "We've been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights. And, uh, it's been a tough week. But you're here and I'm here. Nothing can change this moment right now."

"I know sometimes I'm hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much. Now if you'll oblige me, I'd like to have a little sing-along with you guys."

Timberlake was arrested on June 18 by officers from the Sag Harbor Police Department.

The dad-of-two was said to have had bloodshot and glassy eyes at the time of his arrest. Police also detected a noticeable smell of alcohol coming from his breath and displayed signs of impaired cognitive function, including slow speech, unsteadiness on his feet, and poor performance on various sobriety tests.

The New York Times reported that Timberlake declined to undergo a breathalyzer test on three occasions, informing the officer who apprehended him that he allegedly only "had one martini and followed [his] friends home."

Timberlake was discharged without being required to post bail after his arraignment at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court. He later entered a plea of "not guilty" in response to the charge of driving while intoxicated. The singer's next court appearance is scheduled for July 26.
