U2’s ‘Songs of Innocence’ Apple Removal Spoofed on ‘CONAN’ [WATCH]

As reported by Music Times, Apple unveiled the new iPhone 6 just last week, and along with that the company gave away a free digital download to over 500 million users of U2's newest album, Songs of Innocence. Unfortunately, there were quite a few people who were a little less than thrilled; therefore, Apple had no choice but to show users how to remove the album.

And now, the CONAN crew is poking a little fun at the situation, with the below video for Apple's new "U2-Removal Service" –– eRase U2.

Making it known that U2 has been ranked "No. 1 in a poll taken by senior Apple executives," the below video jokes that the company believed the free giveaway to be a "no-brainer." But sadly, the youth of American had a different take.

"Apparently, to today's youth, giving away a free album from one of the best bands of all time is like going to their house and taking a gigantic crap on their doorstep," says Marcus Pratt, VP of Marketing for Apple (not really).

Because of this, the company quickly launched a removal system, but even that wasn't good enough.

Keith Jepsen of Wyckoff, NJ, claims, "I deleted the new U2 album but I still remember hearing it, you know, so it's almost like I still have it ... and I hate it. So I really want Apple to do something about it.

Check out the below video to figure out what Apple did to satisfy their young users:

So, are you really that sick and tired of hearing U2? Try Apple's (or Conan O'Brien's) eRase U2 service. But perhaps the video says it best with, "If you're happy, we're happy. But seriously, F you! It was a free album. Get over it."
