Justin Timberlake's arrest in New York is reportedly his wife Jessica Biel's "wake-up call" amid the singer's infidelity history throughout their 17-year relationship.
"Justin has humiliated her again," a source told In Touch Weekly about Biel's reaction toward her husband's arrest. "This could all lead to a divorce bombshell. No one would be shocked if Jessica issued Justin an ultimatum: Get help - or it's over."
Additionally, Biel's friends think she has married a "loser," and they hate that her life was occupied by "trying to get Justin to stay on the straight and narrow."
"But the arrest was a wake-up call: It's time for her to realize she can't do it alone. If he keeps going down this path, their marriage will be over," the source added.
In the span of their 17-year relationship, 12 years of which they are married, Biel had to endure Timberlake's cheating behavior.
In 2010, Timberlake and actress Olivia Munn reportedly had a weekend fling in New York City after telling that he and Biel had already split. After a brief breakup in 2011, the two reconnected, and Timberlake and Biel tied the knot in December 2012.
Despite their marriage, cheating allegations were still thrown into the mix.
"He f-ked around on his wife right before they got married," an insider revealed to the outlet, noting Timberlake had made out on a couch with another woman in late 2012, before their wedding.
In 2013, Timberlake was alleged to have kissed actress Thaila Ayala in Brazil and got flirty in Paris with his backup singer Zenya Bashford in 2014.
"He was rubbing and caressing her from behind, dancing in a way that no married man should ever dance with someone who isn't his wife," a source said about Timbelake's encounter with Bashford.
After an intoxicating night out in 2019 with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright in New Orleans, Timberlake was once again entangled in a cheating scandal.
"I drank way too much that night, and I regret my behavior," Timberlake said at the time, saying that he "displayed a strong lapse of judgment."
Around that time, Biel and Timberlake spent more time in Montana because she "wanted to keep him away from temptation."
"They were trying to focus on their family and their marriage. At one point, I'd heard he was offered a big contract for a Vegas residency, and she thought it would be a horrible idea, so he turned it down. She knows how easy it is for him to get caught up in the partying and where that will lead. He doesn't know how to turn it off," the source added.
In 2021, Timberlake was claimed to have made out with another woman "who is not his wife" in Atlanta. In 2024, Playboy cover girl Zoe Gregory revealed that Timberlake had cheated on her while he was dating Cameron Diaz in the 2000s.
"He just can't escape this 'cheater' label, and it upset Jessica every time," the source confirmed. "Her friends fear he'll break her heart again: Do cheaters ever change?"
