Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift's former boyfriend, reportedly has some advice to Travis Kelce regarding his romantic involvement with the 14-time Grammy winner.

Alwyn allegedly cautioned the tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs to steer clear of a particular mistake in their relationship.

The 33-year-old British actor and the "Fortnight" singer ended their six-year romance in early 2023.

In light of Swift's knack for penning songs inspired by past relationships, Alwyn hopes that Kelce will treat her with the utmost respect to avoid becoming the subject of a potential diss track.

It's not just Alwyn who's concerned - Swift's loyal fan base, the Swifties, are known to hold those who mistreat her accountable.

According to an insider who spoke to Life & Style magazine, "The only advice [Alwyn] would probably ever give [Kelce] is to keep treating [Swift] right so that he doesn't become fodder for some song, because her fans will never let him live it down!"

Amid it all, the source revealed that the ex-partners, who were in a six-year relationship, maintained an amicable relationship with no lingering animosity.

Reports suggest that Alwyn was fully aware of the circumstances when he first started a romantic journey with Swift.

Regarding the Mary Queen of Scots actor, "writing songs about past relationships wasn't a problem for him."

Alwyn is known for his preference for privacy and reluctance to share intimate details of his life online, which is why it came as a shock to Swift and fans that he opened up about the end of their romance.

Alwyn did an interview with The Sunday Times, in which he addressed questions about whether he listened to Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The Conversation with Friends star explained, "In thinking on what I was going to say, I would think and hope that anyone and everyone can empathize. This isn't a direct answer to your question, but just thinking about what I want to talk about."

He added, "I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years. That is a hard thing to navigate."

Life & Style also reported that the "Lover" singer was surprised when her ex-boyfriend opened up to about their relationship, as he had always kept their romance under wraps.

"He's super private and never wanted to do anything too public when they were together."

"It's a different side of [Alwyn] that [Swift] has never seen, but she respects that he wanted to clear the air," the insider added.
