Firerose exclusively spoke to Page Six and detailed the treatment she had suffered at the hands of Billy Ray Cyrus.

According to the Australian singer, Cyrus had kicked him out of their marital home on the same day she was scheduled to get a double mastectomy. Firerose was diagnosed with the BRCA1 gene, which ups her chances of getting breast cancer.

The singer revealed that Cyrus "continually screamed" at her, making her feel like a "prisoner" at their Nashville farm.

"Billy had very strict rules," Firerose revealed. "I didn't have a car. I was only allowed to go to the local chiropractor and allowed once a month to get my nails done ... it was systematic isolation and I couldn't find the courage to leave."

Expounding on the isolation she felt, Firerose also divulged that her family and friends were banned from visiting her.

"If I had to send a text, I had to read it out to him for permission. It was the same for email," Firerose alleged.

Aside from the distressing environment, Firerose also shared that Cyrus would even give her the silent treatment for hours, which could last for days. At one point, she even passed out and was taken to the hospital days before their wedding in October 2022.

"I withdrew ...I was afraid to talk," she said about Cryus' treatment of her. In the interview, Firerose recalled her estranged husband's promise: "One day, we're going to have an epic love story beyond what anyone could imagine."

Cyrus quietly filed the divorce papers on May 22, 2024. According to court documents obtained by People, Cyrus listed "irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct" as the reason for their divorce. He also requested an annulment on the grounds of fraud.

However, the couple has since made conflicting claims to each other. Firerose claimed that she suffered domestic abuse from Cyrus, while the other threw the same accusations at the other.

According to the complaint that People obtained, Firerose accused Cyrus of having substance abuse that made him "unpredictable and volatile."

In the filing obtained by Page Six, Cyrus alleged that he was "not only verbally and emotionally" abused by Firerose but "physically" as well, all while "vehemently" denying the claims that he abused his wife.
