Radar Online insiders claimed that Miley Cyrus is "still pretty angry" at her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, even after he divorced his wife, Firerose.
According to the sources, Miley is still mad because Billy Ray "dissed" her mother by quickly hooking up and marrying the Australian singer after his 28-year marriage to Tish Cyrus.
"This is turning out to be just as toxic and messy as Miley predicted, but it's tough for her to have a whole lot of sympathy for her dad right now," the insider confirmed. "She's still pretty angry with him for the terrible way he treated Tish, so it's not going to be as simple as all is forgiven, just because he's single again."
At one point, sources noted that Miley tried to convince Billy Ray to marry Firerose, even cementing her disapproval of their marriage through her glaring absence at their wedding in October 2023.

"Miley always knew it wasn't going to last and that her dad was being taken for a ride, so it really pissed her off that Billy Ray wouldn't listen to her warnings. "Miley's glad he's come to his senses and dumped Firerose, but it's going to take a whole lot more than that to earn her forgiveness."
After seven months of marriage, Billy Ray filed for divorce from Firerose on May 22, 2024. Court documents revealed that the pair are seeking divorce due to "irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct." Billy Ray is even seeking annulment on their marriage on the grounds of fraud.
Us Weekly insiders have revealed that Miley, Noah Cyrus, and their siblings really "never understood" the relationship between Billy Ray and Firerose. They cast doubt on their father's decision to" abruptly" marry the singer, revealing that "no one approved of the marriage."
Despite this, sources have gathered that "Miley is hopeful this will give some peace to the family," "and she thinks this is a good step in the right direction for him."
The Cyrus family drama came after reports emerged that actor Dominic Purcell and Noah were dating before Tish dated him. Conflicting reports had revealed that Purcell was still seeing Noah when he and Tish started dating and that Miley even had full knowledge of Noah and Purcell's relationship.
