Justin Timberlake is calling his NSYNC bandmates to help him out after facing a distressing arrest.
Sources revealed to Radar Online that he is pleading for a reunion to revive his career.
"[Timberlake] is terrified his career may be finished," the source said "He's convinced his only hope to bounce all the way back is another tour with the boys."
Insiders close to the situation revealed that ticket sales for his upcoming tour are underwhelming, prompting some to sell tickets for as low as $11, per The Mirror.
Police apprehended Timberlake and accused him of driving while intoxicated in June.
The "Cry Me A River" star was stopped by cops shortly after leaving the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, following a night out with friends.
One onlooker noted his intoxicated state and saw him drinking from others' cocktails earlier that evening.
When stopped by authorities, Timberlake reportedly failed a roadside sobriety test and persistently refused to take a breathalyzer.
An article on Page Six detailed Timberlake's apprehension and his concerns about the future of his tour amid ongoing scrutiny.
"The cop didn't know who he was at first," they revealed to the outlet. "[Timberlake] said under his breath, 'This is going to ruin the tour.' The cop replied, 'What tour?' [Timberlake] said, 'The world tour.'"
The 43-year-old also received tickets for disregarding a stop sign and failing to stay in the correct lane. After the incident, police took his picture for records, showing bloodshot eyes. He was released shortly afterward without needing to post bail.
Despite the "SexyBack" singer's insistence that he only had a single martini, the chart performance of his sixth latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, experienced a rapid decline within a month.
NSYNC members JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass have solidified their shift with gripping proof to support their recent transformation. In 2023, the group created the famous song "Better Place" for the animated movie "Trolls Band Together."
The insider said, "Every NSYNC album was a No. 1 hit, and their tours sold out arenas across the globe," adding that Timberlake would jump at the chance. "[Timberlake] knows the audience is still out there, so he's begging the guys to do this favor for him."
However, his bandmates are not eager to come to his rescue; as one insider said, "It's a hard sell."
Still, hope remains.
The insider said, "That said, they also know the kind of money a tour could generate, so they're seriously considering it."
