Halsey was recently spotted in New York City. A video of her crossing the street circulated on social media as fans were concerned about her safety after she was almost hit by a truck.
According to the Sun, the pop singer filmed a music video surrounded by her team. The Maxxxine actress donned a colorful Y2K dress, a yellow handbag, and black shoes with a butterfly design. She completed her look with her hot pink hair, a familiar aesthetic in her next era of music.
In the clip, the 29-year-old singer could be seen crossing a street along with her staff, but as they were in the middle, a truck was driving so fast that the musician had to return to the sidewalk.
Fans took to social media to express their concern over the "Colors" hitmaker as one wrote, "Omggg poor h wtf the driver of the truck should've stopped it was literally a whole group of ppl walking across!! That's so absurd!"
"truck person WHEN I FIND YOU," one added, while another wrote, "That driver is a menace."
Another user speculated that this incident might be staged as they wrote, "Do we think....this was on 'purpose' Like an irl publicity stunt type thing."

As of this writing, Halsey has yet to address the incident on social media.
The recent news comes after the singer released a new "The End" single from her upcoming fourth studio album.
"long story short, i'm Lucky to be alive. short story long, i wrote an album. it begins with The End. out now," she wrote in an announcement in June.
The acoustic tracks revolve around existentialism and her health struggles, where she gives fans an insight into her battle, as she sang: "Every couple of years now, a doctor says I'm sick/Pulls out a brand new bag of tricks/And then they lay it on me/And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain/And I don't like to complain, but I'm saying sorry."
Following this, she continued teasing fans about her next era of music as she expressed her love for Britney Spears, whom she felt was singing directly to her when she was five years old.
She then shared a video featuring a yet-to-be-released song that samples the pop star's hit 2000 song "Lucky."
