Taylor Swift and Beyoncé will not team up for a fundraising concert to support Kamala Harris in her presidential run.

Rumors of a joint concert started circulating after a buzzworthy report by U.K. Discoverer claimed: "In an unprecedented show of unity and star power, music icons Beyoncé and Taylor Swift have just announced their plan to host a colossal fundraising concert aimed at mobilizing their massive fan bases in support of Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign."

According to the Tuesday report, the two pop superstars hoped to garner backing for Harris' continuous endeavors to tackle pressing matters like climate change, social justice, and economic equality.

U.K. Discoverer also claimed to have obtained a joint statement from Swift and Beyoncé that read: "We believe in the power of music to bring people together and drive change. This concert is our way of using our platforms to support a leader who is dedicated to making a positive impact on our country. We are thrilled to bring our fans together for a night of incredible music and unity in support of Kamala Harris."

The report went on to cite "rumors" that suggested Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Jay-Z, and Kendrick Lamar may make appearances at the event.

However, the claims of a Taylor Swift and Beyoncé joint concert were debunked and deemed "false" by the fact-checking website Snopes.

The U.K. Discoverer article was viewed hundreds of thousands of times after it was shared on social media websites. It reportedly attracted numerous optimistic supporters who initially thought it as genuine, only to end up disappointed by the false claims.

Snopes pointed out that there's no evidence of a fundraising concert featuring the two stars. The website also noted that no credible news sources have covered it, and neither Swift's nor Beyoncé's teams have confirmed anything.

Newsweek also weighed in, calling the article about the supposed concert "erroneous."
