Taylor Swift Fans Enjoy Free 'Eras Tour' Concerts From Hill Outside Munich Stadium

Some Taylor Swift fans got to enjoy her "Eras Tour" shows in Munich, Germany, for free over the weekend.

Thousands of Swifties who couldn't score tickets to the singer-songwriter's soldout concert gathered on a hill outside the show venue, Olympiastadion, to watch and sing along to the performances on Saturday and Sunday, ABC News reported.

On Sunday, Swifties flocked to the top of the city, Olympiaberg or Olympic Hill, for the second straight day. The hill gave them an elevated vantage point to witness the singer's performance in the nearby Olympic Stadium.

Swift performed a guitar medley of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," her duet with Zayn Malik from the "Fifty Shades Darker" soundtrack, and "imgonnagetyouback," an anthology song from "The Tortured Poets Department."

She then turned to the piano and sang a mashup of "Loml" from "TTPD" and the "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" vault track "Don't You," marking her first live performance of the latter song.

A day prior, Swifties withstood the heat, which hit 31 degrees Celsius (87 degrees Fahrenheit), and claimed their spots on the hill hours before the concert began. According to the DPA news agency, police estimated that about 25,000 people were gathered on Olympic Hill.

DPA reported that the concert organizer distributed emergency blankets and water to the people waiting to shield themselves from the sun instead of discouraging free viewings.

Before Swift's "Lover" performance, she acknowledged the fans gathered on the hill, saying, "We've got people in a park outside the stadium, thousands of people listening from out there."

"Thank you for making me feel so incredibly welcome," she added, noting that she and the rest of the performers on stage would "spend all night trying to make it up to you."

Swift is next scheduled to perform three concerts in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, Thursday through Saturday.
