Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" made history by breaking the all-time tour-gross record and surpassing $1 billion in sales last year, setting a new standard in the music industry.

New details of her tour's financial success have emerged after Variety reported that the 14-time Grammy winner earns as much as $17 million per show, not including profits from inflated ticket resales.

The "conservative estimate" of Swift's average gross per "Eras Tour" concert is $14 million, an unnamed source close to the production told the publication.

In October 2023, Forbes reported that Swift's estimated personal earnings for each "Eras Tour" show ranged between $10 million to $13 million. This estimate did not include revenue from tickets resold at inflated prices.

According to the Washington Post, Swift gets about 85% of all revenue generated by her ongoing tour.

The "Fortnight" hitmaker set ticket prices at an average of $230 and a maximum of $499, except for the exclusive VIP packages priced at $899, and she doesn't profit from scalping,

Making significant strides toward achieving a staggering $2 billion milestone, not including any potential resale value growth, the "Lover" singer has also raked in hundreds of millions of dollars through merchandise sales.

Pollstar editor Andy Gensler told Variety that Swift is "the torchbearer for the live industry."

"Her timing was exquisite: The pandemic created this yearning and hunger for live entertainment like nothing else in our history, so she couldn't have picked a better time to go out," he added.

The "Eras Tour" concert film hit theaters last year and raked in a staggering $180 million in the U.S. and $261 million globally.

In a whirlwind year featuring a 152-date "Eras Tour" and the debut of "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift's accomplishments have been truly remarkable.

New information disclosed that the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker won't be taking a long break after her tour's conclusion in December.

In fact, Swift, who has an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion, is reportedly actively working on new music for a 2025 release. There are also discussions underway for a potential tour in 2026.
