Fans think Taylor Swift subtly clapped back at Kanye West and "blocked" his comeback after the rapper name-dropped her and her boyfriend Travis Kelce in a song from his new album, "Vultures 2."
West seemingly decided to reignite his feud with Swift with his track "Lifestyle (Demo)" in his much-delayed album, "Vultures 2."
"Lifestyle" mentions the names "Taylor" and "Travis Kelce," but the references are done indirectly. Lil Wayne, who is featured on the song, name-dropped them rather than West himself, according to lyrics published by Genius.
"I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce," Lil Wayne raps in his verse.
Swifties were not happy with the mention, accusing West of using Swift and Kelce to gain attention. West previously teased the name-drop during a February tirade on Instagram, in which he ridiculed Swift's followers and warned them to prepare for Lil Wayne's verse on "Vultures 2."
But some social media users believe that Swift may have responded to his latest jab right away.
On the same day "Vultures 2" was released, she announced a new digital version of "The Tortured Poets Department" with an extra track, "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys" (First Draft Phone Memo). She made this bonus track available for only 24 hours.
Some fans speculated this move was intended to "block" West's album from topping the charts and to overshadow his latest release.

"If he can name drop her in his album, she can block him," one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Another speculated, "She will be blocking Kanye West."
"Kanye was found crying," a third user quipped.
Meanwhile, other Swifties suggested that the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker took a subtle swipe at West during her "Eras Tour" concert in Warsaw, Poland, Saturday.
During her "Red" set for that show, Swift donned a shirt that said, "I Bet You Think About Me."
This is the title of a "Red" vault track, but some of her fans could not help but notice that she rocked it following the release of West's "Vultures 2."
"She's so funny for wearing the ['I Bet You Think About Me'] shirt after Ka*ye name dropped her and Travis in his song an actual comedian," one person wrote on X. "[When I] saw the K*nye thing a little bit ago and I knew she was gonna wear it lmao."
Swift and West's long-running conflict started in 2009 at the MTV Video Music Awards when the rapper interrupted the younger artist's acceptance speech for best female video, overshadowing her achievement. The feud intensified with the "Famous" and leaked phone call debacle that hurt Swift's reputation for years.
