Tupac Shakur's murder remains a widely discussed topic in hip-hop.
Presenting his perspective on the matter, music manager Wack 100 -- whose real name is Cash Jones -- has a theory regarding the circumstances surrounding Tupac's 1996 death. He suggested that Suge Knight -- who was in the car with Tupac on the night of the deadly Las Vegas shooting -- may be partially at fault and could have prevented his artist's death had he done more to keep the rapper safe.
In a recent discussion on VladTV, Wack 100 brought attention to Knight's alleged failure to protect Tupac, highlighting missed security measures that potentially could have averted the legendary rapper's tragic end.
Wack emphasized the importance of prioritizing the safety of artists in such vulnerable situations.
"As the one that was supposed to have been leading that, he should have made the right decision," Wack said. "Instead, everybody's partying and bulls**tting, and it happened the way it happened."
Wack concluded, "Suge was too worried about the wrong thing."
Duane "Keefe D" Davis, the alleged mastermind behind the murder, was arrested by law enforcement and charged with Tupac's slaying last year. He remains in jail, awaiting trial for his charges.
Earlier this year, Wack attempted to secure the bail release of Keefe D without success and hinted at the possibility of producing a documentary about him.
Wack's theory comes after new accusations emerged against Sean "Diddy" Combs, adding to the ongoing legal battles the Bad Boy Records founder faces.
Most recently, a retired LAPD detective, known for his involvement in the investigations of Tupac and Biggie's deaths, shared insights with New York Magazine.
Former investigator Greg Kading revisited a troubling claim reportedly made by Keefe D, who alleged that Diddy orchestrated an attack on Tupac and Knight.
Keefe D reportedly told the former cop about a gathering held by Diddy in a hotel room in 1995 in which the hip-hop mogul allegedly expressed his desire to "harm" Tupac and Knight.
Kading reported that Keefe D also confessed to being allegedly approached by Diddy with an offer of $1 million to carry out the murders.
Diddy has denied any involvement in the shooting. He has never been a suspect in the case.
In September 1996, Tupac fell victim to a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. The incident occurred shortly after a reported physical altercation with Orlando Anderson, the nephew of Keefe D, following a boxing match featuring Mike Tyson.
Tupac died from his injuries at a medical facility within days. Knight was also injured in the shooting but survived.
