Pusha T is in some hot water with Cameo nightclub in Miami.
According to TMZ, the Virginia Beach rapper agreed to do an appearance on Aug. 16, with an alleged exclusivity deal included that prevented him from appearing at any other clubs within 30 miles of Miami-Dade County from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31.
Problem is, Pusha decided to attend a celebrity basketball tournament at nearby Dream Nightclub on the night of Aug. 15.
Cameo claims that decision cost them $13,000 in sales, and is taking Pusha to court.
PT probably didn't help matters when he gave the celebrity basketball game much more play on his Twitter than the appearance at Cameo.
"I will be hosting the @Bacardi Streetball Invitational in Miami Sunday. #RepYourFlavor," he tweeted on Aug. 15 alongside a large promotional image for the event.
A day later, he offered a simple, "Miami come thru Cameo tonight @thefirmmia" when it was time to promote the scheduled appearance.
Pusha was featured on the now-iconic 2010 single "Runaway," and then played a heavy role in 2012's Cruel Summer.
He also recently opened for Kanye in Australia, and told HipHopDX that his discography can go pound for pound with Jay-Z's.
"People look at Jay in a certain light as far as lyrics, street lyrics and D-Boy lyrics," Pusha said. "There's a certain level of sophistication that people have always put on Jay. He's earned it, but I feel like I'm up there, as well. I feel like this is somebody who lives it. This is somebody who's there. This is somebody who's in the mix of it. I don't want to be overlooked in no way, shape or form when it comes to street Hip Hop or any accolades that I feel are given to any artists that speak of this type of content. I always want to be compared. Jay's the best living, so compare me to his greatness, especially if we're talking about this. If we're talking about the streets."
