Is the Only Thing Holding 'The Real Housewives of Orange County's' Vicki Gunvalson's Relationship with Brooks Ayers Together an Explosive Business Lawsuit that Has Been Filed Against Them?

It sounds like fighting with fellow castmates from The Real Housewives of Orange County is going to be the least of Vicki Gunvalson's problems.

A few seasons into her stint on the show, Gunvalson embarked on a brief business venture called Vicki's Vodka. Apparently, things fell apart quickly, and she has been locked in a lawsuit over the deal gone bad. Her on-again/off-again boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, is also involved and a judge recently ruled against the couple who had filed a protective order requesting that all personal documents not be exposed.

Instead, the judge decided that since Gunvalson and Ayers have chosen to put themselves in the public eye, then everything is fair game for the public once this issue goes to trial.

Unfortunately, financial problems are not the only ones the couple has had recently.

Ayers was also captured on tape admitting he cheats often with hookers and has put his hands on Gunvalson on at least one occasion.

RHOC fans have never been thrilled with Ayers, and Gunvalson's opting to stay with a guy like him has made no sense, at least up until now. This legal battle has some fans questioning whether or not Gunvalson has kept Ayers close by so he will not somehow turn on her in court.

Do you think there is more to the relationship between these two than just love? Is it also a case of keeping your enemy closer? What kind of personal details exist that Gunvalson and Ayers were desperate to keep them confidential? Is this one of those bad business scandals that is going to prove to be shocking for her fans? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
