Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, has been busy as of late, dropping a mixtape and an EP earlier this month, but the rapper revisited 2013's Because the Internet in a new video for the LP's track "Telegraph Ave ("Oakland" by Lloyd)."
The video features Gambino in a flowery button-up shirt flirting with a love interest played by Jhene Aiko, Consequence of Sound notes. The pair are living in a tropical paradise and doing general couple things like walking on the beach and taking pictures in front of the ocean. It's a pleasant video, but be forewarned — the ending will catch you a little off guard. Watch the video below and be sure to watch it the whole way through.
Gambino dropped a mixtape, STN MTN, on October 2, just a few days before he released his EP KAUAI. The rapper explained in a recent interview that the two projects are connected. "It's a Gangsta Grillz mixtape that goes into an EP," he told MTV News about the project. "The Gangsta Grillz mixtape is a dream, and the dream ends when I wake up in Kauai. And they go into each other; it's one complete project. You can download the mixtape and you can go buy the EP. The money from the EP goes to help keeping Kauai clean."
On the acting side of things, Glover recently scored a part as a NASA employee in Ridley Scott's The Martian, TheWrap reports. The actor will also join the cast of Magic Mike XXL and voice Spider-Man in an upcoming animated series. Glover can currently be seen in the Steve Carell-led Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
