Kate Middleton Still Battling Morning Sickness, May Stay Out Of Sight Until After Second Child's Birth In April

Kate Middleton has been out of commission for nearly 6 weeks now. Morning sickness while carrying her second child has completely taken control of her life, leaving no choice for Kensington Palace but to continue canceling engagements and clearing her schedule. When she was pregnant with Prince George nearly two years ago, Middleton suffered a severe bout of sickness, resulting in hospitalization, but it only lasted a few weeks. This time is completely different and it is leading some in the royal loop to speculate that Middleton may stay MIA until she has her baby next April.

The palace has taken a wait and see approach towards Middleton's schedule but after repeatedly canceling out scheduled royal appearances it's starting to seem like a better idea not to even try to book her for the foreseeable future. During her first pregnancy Middleton always looked amazing, impeccably dressed with her little baby bump. Apparently this time around Middleton's sickness is taking a real toll on her appearance as well. After 6 weeks on the bathroom floor the duchess is probably resembling any other commoner in the throes of morning sickness. While Middleton is known to embrace normalcy, looking sick in public is still deemed unacceptable by royal standards.

There have been rumors that Middleton is actually expecting twins and that is part of the reason why this time around is so much more difficult. Do you think that could be a factor? Every pregnancy is different, even if you are royalty. Will Middleton bounce back at some point and start to make up for lost time with royal appearances? Or do you think that she will take the next several months to just lay low and focus on her family? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
